Difference / variant
The paternal Paulet arms remain unchanged. The important armorial development is the marriage to Lucy Cecil, daughter of Thomas Cecil, 1st Earl of Exeter, bringing the Winchester succession into the Cecil–Nevill aristocratic network.

Do not automatically turn the Cecil and Nevill ancestry of Lucy Cecil into paternal Paulet quarterings. The connection is marital unless a period-specific achievement proves otherwise.
