Notes / sources
The quartering nomenclature differs between surviving traditions. The Corpus Vitrearum catalogue reads the fourth quarter as Heckington, while some later armorial sources identify a comparable quarter as Dauney. Preserve both traditions as a source-critical issue rather than silently harmonising them.
