Dates: 1 January 1797–29 November 1873
Biography
Lord Thomas Cecil was the youngest son of Henry Cecil, 1st Marquess of Exeter, by his second wife Sarah Hoggins. He represented Stamford in the House of Commons from 1818 to 1832 and pursued both naval and military service. He married Lady Sophia Georgiana Lennox in 1838. The marriage produced no children, so no continuing agnatic Cecil cadet branch issued from this union.
