Biography
Wiltshire antiquarian and landholder who inherited Alderton in 1654, served as High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1680, and compiled a major genealogical account of the Gore family.

He is distinct from earlier Thomas Gore of Alderton, who died in 1532.
