Biography
Thomas Clarell held the manor of Adwick upon Dearne jointly with his wife Maud. His 1442 inquisition post mortem records the 1405 grant by Thomas Herlyngton and Robert Mousdere and states that he died by drowning on 1 May 1442.

The source records his son Thomas as his next heir, aged 40 or more, but does not itself provide a complete later descent of the manor.
