Biography
Only surviving child of Sir Nicholas Shireburn who inherited the Shireburn estate, including the Stonyhurst and Aighton-related manors, and held it through her marriage to Thomas Howard, eighth Duke of Norfolk.

The manor was inherited as part of the wider estate; the evidence does not identify a separate deed for Aighton alone.
