Biography
Henry pursued the dormant senior claim that had been overlooked when his grandfather emigrated to Virginia. His petition was first presented in 1733 and accepted after the death of Hugh Willoughby, 15th Baron, in 1765. He took his seat in the House of Lords on 25 April 1767 and was recognised as the senior male-line successor to the original 1547 barony. He died without male issue, and the title passed to his nephew George.
