Henry Pigott was a member of the Pigott family associated with Abington Pigotts. He built or substantially rebuilt the mid-sixteenth-century manor house now known as Manor Farmhouse.

Historic England describes the building as formerly the manor house and places its construction in the mid sixteenth century.
