Biography
Henry FitzRoy was the illegitimate son of King Charles II and Barbara Villiers, later Duchess of Cleveland. He was created Duke of Grafton in 1675. The supplied manor record states that the Crown granted the reunited Stoke Bruerne manor to him in 1673 and that he died from wounds received during the siege of Cork in 1690.
