Biography
Only surviving child and heiress of Bamber Gascoyne junior of Childwall Hall. She married James Brownlow William Cecil on 2 February 1821. Because her father had no surviving son to continue the Gascoyne name, her husband obtained a Royal Licence dated 22 March 1821 to place Gascoyne before Cecil, and the Gascoyne arms were subsequently marshalled with the Salisbury Cecil arms.
