Edward Harley, earl of Oxford and earl Mortimer, 2nd Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer
Dates: 1689-1741

Edward Harley was a member of the Harley family that owned the Wigmore and Brampton Bryan estates. The 1772 Wigmore enclosure award records him as lord of the manor of Wigmore and as entitled to the lord's share of the common lands.
Notes / Sources
The source is direct for the lordship of Wigmore, but the exact legal relationship between that lordship and the distinct Adforton manor record requires further archival confirmation.
