Dame Hillaria Trusbut, widow of Sir Robert de Boulers, heiress and landholder in the Trussebut/Boulers inheritance.
Dates: Died by 12 April 1241; the grant is dated by Eyton to later than 1216.
Biography
A medieval heiress and landholder who was associated with Robert de Boulers and made religious and charitable grants to Lilleshall Abbey. Her documented Braunston interest was a one-third share of Brandeston/Braunston land, while she retained a third of the advowson.
Notes / Sources
The exact extent of her manorial rights is limited by the charter's wording: the direct evidence concerns one-third of Brandeston/Braunston rather than an unqualified whole manor.
