Source-derived pedigree information
On 1 July 1467, Robert Danby, esquire, and Katherine, his wife, were deforciants in a plea of covenant concerning 222 and a half acres of land and 19 acres of meadow in Yafforth/Yafford. The fine records a conveyance and quitclaim involving Robert and Katherine but does not establish their parentage or connect them conclusively to the later Ralph/Robert Danby of Yafforth.

Notes
This record is valuable as an independent documentary anchor for Danby landholding at Yafforth in 1467, but it should remain a separate identity node until a charter, inquisition, will or visitation explicitly links Robert and Katherine to the later Bosworth-era Ralph/Robert Danby.
